Water Marbelling meets French Mani

So tonight I thought, why have I never seen anyone try to do a water marble french manicure style.  Can't be that hard, right?
Well here is how mine turned out.  What do you think?

First I had to choose 4 colors from my polish collection.  I decided that I thought Donna, Gayle, Brandt and Kate from Julep would look nice together.

This photo shows my nails without the flash.

Well I am pretty pleased with how they actually turned out, but it is was quite time consuming to do the clean up.  I did my full nails in the water marbel and then used a makeup brush with polish remover to remove the excess from the bottom of my nail to give me the french manicure look.  I finished it off with small stripes of glitter to just set off the nails a little bit.

    1. Thank you Samantha. I loved the end result, just takes a lot of cleanup in the end, so it is quite time consuming. I am going to have to work on a way to do this with less cleanup.

  3. Love this look! Amazing! Maybe cover more of your nails w the tape, so there's less clean up instead of doing the full nail. :)

    1. Thank you. Yes I think that is what I will do next time I try this out. I want to try and do this same look with the heart effect from the marbelling next time. I think it would be easier to cover half my nail with tape, then i would have to just use the brush to form the arch at the base of the marbelling.
